Re: Next years season projection

The thing to look forward to next year is that we should get STRONGER as the year goes on. The depth issues of the past are starting to evaporate, but the lack of game experience is huge. We have too many fresh faces to expect to go undefeated. I would go so far as to say that if we were ONLY losing JPW, we'd have a hard time breaking in a QB in the SEC without dropping a game. Look how much the QB position impacted LSU's season. When you gut the O line like we are this year, there's got to be some drop-off.

I'm going to reserve my high hopes for the defense, as we should be solid there despite the loss of our backfield "QB", RJ. I have loved watching Rolando play LB at Bama, and will view this 2009 season as his farewell tour before the NFL.

I'm looking forward to seeing all the fresh faces, especially what we have to work with at QB. It should be another fun year for anyone who isn't expecting too much.
