Auburn WR Tim Hawthorne Breaks Foot
According to several Auburn sites, including the Auburn Rivals site, wide receiver Tim Hawthorne broke a bone in his foot in non-contact workouts this morning, and the early estimate is that he will miss 6-8 weeks from the injury. At this point, he's going to miss all of Fall camp, and should miss the season opener as well.

We'll have to see how this one plays out. Hawthorne was a highly-touted recruit in 2006, and he certainly has the raw talent. On the other hand, foot injuries tend to linger (ask anyone who has ever had one, or Ole Miss DE Greg Hardy, whichever you come across first), and this injury will probably limit him just about all year at least to a degree.
