Interesting guesses. The correct ruling: The ball is dead as soon as the pitch is made and White takes over on the 15. This is another difference in high school and college rules. In order for the holder to do anything other than put the ball down for the kick, he must raise his knee off of the ground. If he hands, pitches or throws the ball from his knee, the ball is dead at that spot.
