I've watched Norwood in two games this season folks and I've got to tell you, he's maybe the best defensive safety in the South. Problem is,Coach S. say's that Norwood will not sign anywhere that wants to play him on defense. To me that's unfortunate. He's a very good wide receiver and I think he'll be a great college player wherever he signs, but to me, he's a future NFL'er if he'd switch to the D. Regardless, he's great kid and I hope we get him. Truly a class kid all the way around. And his coach is my buddy. Coach Singleton is one of the finest men I've ever met. He say's..."I think he'll go to Alabama". We'll see. alasippi

Well technically it is a dupe and I would normally merge it with the Kevin Norwood Update thread. However your post deserves to stand alone as it own thread, especially the Coach Singleton quote..."I think he'll go to Alabama". Thanks for that great insider insight. I along with a whole lot of other folks that watched Norwood's Rivals.com video highlights were equally if not more impressed with Norwood on defense and special teams. I know Bama is recruiting him as a WR and it is being said that he is the top WR prospect on their board. I certainly hope Coach Singleton is right and he signs with Bama.
