TUSCALOOSA | Now we know why LSU wears purple and gold. It?s to cover the black and blue. At least that?s the way it seemed Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium, when the third-ranked University of Alabama left bodies scattered in its wake while bruising and battering the ninth-ranked Tigers into submission on the way to a 24-15 victory.
