Note What a year.....

Alabama wasnt supposed to be all that good this year and many didnt give them a chance. Then they started 18-3 against perhaps not the toughest of schedules. Then there was a time that a regional bid was in question. Its not something we are used to under Jim Wells, but everyone has a down year. Bear Bryant had two 6-5 teams between his 60's and 70's powerhouses.

I think of it as a good season because of how they finished. It was a frustrating year at times, a lot of times, but to see them go into Hoover and do what they did made me more proud of Alabama Baseball than any other time they won it.

Think of it this way...

What some would say is a down year for Alabama, we still were...

*SEC Tournament Champions (6th in 9yrs)
*18-16 vs SEC teams
*3-2 vs Auburn
*2-2 vs LSU

The only thing I really hate not getting to say was 40 wins. If only they hadnt had all those losses to the likes of UWA,Jax,Samford, etc...

oh well...its time to get ready for ALABAMA FOOTBALL!!!!

ROLL TIDE ROLL!
