Great story and congrats to Lance! For him to jump all the way from Class A to AAA is quite an impressive accomplishment. It appears as though he may be on the verge of making his major league debut before too long. If there is any organization in the big leagues that understands the value of strong starting pitching, it's undoubtedly the Diamondbacks, and they made an excellent choice with the selection of Lance in last year's draft. Although the Big Unit is getting old and Schilling may be out the door, the future of the Arizona pitching staff is bright with great young talents like Lance awaiting their chances to make their mark in the majors in the near future.

We hated to have to part with the greatest pitcher in Crimson Tide history, but we all have a lot to look forward to as he continues his success at the next level.
