I want to thank everyone who supports our baseball program and this message board. You love it as much as I. When things are not going the right way we tend to start disecting it from every angle. I know some of you are frusturated to the point where you have to vent. I understand that. But I want to let everyone know it does not look very good to a possible recruit who might be reading this board. Yes, they do read message boards in order to get a sense of the enviroment of choice school. Remember, he is digging for all the information he can get and messages boards is included in that search.

If you have to vent, please find another board to do it on. I'm keeping this one positive.

Re: Posting of a Topic (Please read)

I did not see the thread that was deleted and I understand your point of reference DT. Keeping it positive and a place to vent is somewhat of a dilemma.

On the note that recruits read this site- I am not sure in the long run how a recruit is going to benefit from information being withheld.

The recruiting process is not entirely factual. Anyone will agree with me if they have been through the process. The tendancies of a coach and his staff can determine the future a player has in college and beyond. They have far too much control when a recruit comes in and they find out things are not as they were told.

Perhaps if during the recruiting process an agreement was mandated that things were as stated, there would be more truthful reporting by the recruiter.

If the NCAA did not change their rules as far as transferring, the player would have options if the coach decides he dislikes a player for whatever the reason and vise versa. No hard feelings.

If the NLI was binding for 4 years, the player would again have reassurances.

While a school, coaches and it's advocates would like to get the best recruits in to win the games for them, perhaps the staff should be in a position to give them the tools and the opportunities.

If indeed you have gotten your best recruits to come play for you, and having at least a dozen players the pros thought were worthy on your roster, the question I ask is, "When you don't win and your hitters can't hit and your pitchers can't perform, who is ultimately responsible"?

I think the baseball fans that post on this site have been doing it for a while and many look to them for their insights. They know the tendancies of the coach and the players. They fans posting have credibility to a degree and after this weekend, they have a lot of credibility.

There is not much difference in the team in where it was at the beginning of the season and where it is now. In what area have they improved? The fans posted have simply stated it how it is.
