Pitching Coach

Share

I'm hearing that we just inked Clemson's pitching coach Kyle Bunn today.

Can anyone confirm this? Also if true, what's your opinions on it?

I know, I seem to be asking for a lot of opinions lately haha

I'm guessing it's true cause it's being reported on the The State in South Carolina.

Apologies if it doesn't work.

Big A Re: Pitching Coach

I like the hire.
He brings some new methods and ideas into our program. Hopefully he can help the kids reach there full potential.

Re: Pitching Coach

Yes, I heard the news today; hopefully it has been confirmed. Check out the post on Sept. 3, "Tides Pitching Coach" . Coach Bunn was one of my top three hopefuls. Kyle graduated from the Citadel and coached at Ole Miss before going to Clemson a couple of years ago.
Excellent, young, experienced college pitching coach that I know Coach Legget (Clemson HC) was very complimentary. Kyle will bring a lot of enthusiasm and is very demanding (conditioning wise) of all the pitchers while he was at Clemson. I just hope our pitchers are in good shape before Kyle arrives or it could be a long Fall for those who are not in shape.

Looking at the Basketball and Baseball Coaching changes, apparently, the Athletic administration is on board to help raise the level of talent in all programs at UA. In my opinion, this is an excellent hire.

Great job Coach G.!

Re: Pitching Coach

I'm really excited by this. I have always been a fan of Clemson and Coach Leggett. If Coach Leggett found him good enough to have on is his staff, he will definitely be a welcome addition here. We definitely need a change in philosophy.

Re: Pitching Coach

If only CJW will allow him to do his thing. Also, why not bring in someone to teach the team about manufacturing runs instead of still trying to play homer ball?

Re: Pitching Coach

OK, Foot in Mouth on last post. I should have read previous posts. Thank Goodness CJW is gone. Now, I'm on board with the new pitching coach.
