Uh oh looks like Florida won the recruiting war

Share

Article from Baseball America evaluating the 2009 recruiting class from areas across the country; unfortunately, knowing several of these players, I think it is a fairly accurate assessment for the Gators.
Not surprisingly, I think the SEC will be even more dominant in 2010 than 2009.

Season starts in 17 weeks, I hear at South Alabama???

Copy and paste the link to decide for yourself.

Re: Uh oh looks like Florida won the recruiting war

This is a good article, it will be intersting to see if Florida can get all those Catchers playing other positions.

Do you know if there a complete list for all D1 Schools posted anywhere?

Re: Uh oh looks like Florida won the recruiting war

Well, UF was a gold mine waiting to happen. Seems now it has been discovered. There are more baseball players in Florida than football players and we see how many football players come out of that state. The good thing about baseball is that a good coach can coach up a baseball player, harder to do in football imo (granted Saban is dog gone good at it!). With baseball you don't need all-stars to be a great team.

We are gonna be just fine here starting this year (not that we haven't been good in the last 15 or so).

website with D1 commits

dddice:
You can try the PerfectGame website. It had a list of all college commitments, including the 1st 10 rounds of the MLB draft.

Re: Uh oh looks like Florida won the recruiting war

This is the site that I use. Not sure how accurate or up-to-date it is, although I can tell you that last time I checked was back during the summer and there were only 2 names on the list for next years class.

College Commitment List

If it doesn't work, let me know and I'll try and fix it.
