| BamaNation First Team  |  New polls.....What Gives?
The Tide fell a spot in both polls even though they easily won both games this week. While some teams ahead of them lost to weak teams, Bama took care of business and fell in the rankings. I know its early, but that suprised me. We are 19th in both polls.

I'd say the fact that we played two weak teams, regardless of how much we won by, is what caused it. But I wouldn't worry about it too much. Polls don't mean jack in college basketball. From what I understand the NCAA Tournament selection committee doesn't even use them when picking t-large teams.
