When we play these guys, does it count as an exhibition or what? I'll assume it's a regular season game since we've already started playing. But who are these guys? ------------------ Proverbs 3:4-5 |

It's an exhibition game. I'm merely guessing, but I believe that CMG scheduled this game to allow our players to concentrate on finals and to tweak any problems that a young team may have at this point in the season. Athletes in Action is a team composed of former college and even pro/semi-pro players. The difference between this team and other "exhibition teams" is this team is made up of Christian athletes. This team serves two purposes...to witness to fans, players, and coaches & to play basketball. They've done well this year. They lost to Indiana by 2 in OT. As a side note, CMG once played for AIA. |

Had me scratching my head too. I worry about injuries, but maybe he'll just play some young guys for most of the game. It is finals week and preparation should go into that heavily. I love CMG approach on academics. The guy is a class act and parents should take note of how he works with kids. I don't like all of his decisions, but this one is a sure example of what kind of coach he is. Good work coach!! |
