Note Maurice Ford (Sharpe's high school coach) on Finebaum this afternoon

Share

You (emphasis on you) can see whether PF throws softballs or actually gets into some in depth questions this afternoon.
I'd suspect, Ford will once again take his shots at CMG.

FWIW, their (MSU) compliance director was in B-ham this afternoon asking some questions about Sharpe and his recruitment. The questions have been categorized as CYA more than anything. IE: Dickey in Mobile.

Terry - I heard the interview and he didn't let him off easy. I had posted under the other thread regarding this and I have one sentence to respond here "I hope Sharpe enjoys Starkvegas". This one will be interesting to watch for sure.

BTW, if the MSU Compliance people talk to "the coach" I'm sure their probe will be just as thorough as DD's was in Mobile.

I listened to the guy. He changed his story with every breath. He said he told CMG that Sharpe was going to MSU, then he saud he never told CMG that. He also said one of our assistant coaches threatened his mother, then he said we didn't. There were more cases and Finebaum called him on all of them. The coach came across like he had something to hide. Very definsive the entire interview.

ROFLMAO! Did you just hear that woman who called up around 4:50?!?! She made an irate Phylis call sound dull in comparison. That'll get replayed forever now.

To hear it the first time and then the replay was excruitating to one's ears! I figured when it was over and a commercial came on, he had to recover. I could just hear him (PF) telling his wife he had a rough day at work today. (Kind of like I heard from my husband and I had to laugh)

Wow, some of the most racist black people ever were on this show. You can tell that Maurice Ford came into this interview with a bad taste in his mouth about Finebaum, and he seemed very defensive.

I heard it and am still scratching my head. If the people that called in were listening at all to the interview and the guys babling and rambling they would never had called in screaming racism. The guy changed his story more than Christine Aguilera changes hair color. One caller called in and said he was a Parker alum and that this idiot, ford, has had his hand out since he got there. He also said the Parker alumni were unhappy with him, what with the talent hes had and hasn't won anything. The guy rambled and changed his story enough to make you wonder if he had amnesia or something. There was nothing racial about, (I have to admit pf called him out on several of his statements and he would say there you go Paul leave it alone) it was just an idiot on the radio who has probably had his hand out the whole time Ala the memphis gang. We need to steer clear of that school and any recruit this dude has on his team. It amazes me that people like that are allowed to teach and guide our children.
