Seeding/Tournament Projection Poll

Share

I've spent soo much time today hopping from site to site to evaluate our chances to get in the dance. I love the NCAA tournament so much, and it's just not as much fun when we aren't there.........I am submitting a poll to see where everyone thinks we end up.......Just to pass the time for the next 22 hours........

I voted for a tenth seed... I think these last two losses hurt more than I ever imagined they could. We really needed that MSU game to keep an 8 or 9 seed.

i think we slip in as a nine seed. we played well better teams latter in the season. (not including the kentucky game). i will just be happy to get in.

I think we go in as a 10 seed, so long as UF beats USC. Other wise, I don't know if we get in if the Gamecocks beat UF for a 3rd time this season.

Very nervous about this afternoon, but much different then 2001 or 2003. I thought we were in for certain in 2001, wasn't concerned about it considering we beat 15-13 UGA team that got in from our conference and the fact that we won our 1st SEC tournament game that year & UGA did not. Utter shock on that Sunday.

2003, much different in that I was resigned to the fact that we were not getting in after Vandy thumped us on a Thursday night in the SEC Tourny in New Orleans. Again, utter shock after seeing 'Bama pop up on the board as a 10 seed.

2006... who knows but I think we get our answer in about 2 hours

I can't imagine the disappointment that the players would feel if they get left out considering how hard they have battled back to get in a position to be in the tournament.

I just saw something where Fox Sports had us as an 11, if South Carolina wins then I'd be surprised if we get in. If it happens, well, we lost our last two, I'd hate to see these guys left out cause they play hard and dealt with adversity well but we lost our last two.

The field is set according to Craig Littlefield, tournament committee selection chairmen's interview on CBS at 12:55 EST,.

The field is set WITH USC BEATING UF.

IF UF wins, then 1 more at large spot opens up, according to him

I'm not sure how I feel about that!
