How does a below average Tennessee team get an 8 seed in the Midwest & a Vandy team get an 8 seed in the East and Bama gets a 10 in Midwest. Make little sense to me.

Re: Updated ESPN Basketball Bracket - Pat Forde & Committee

Although it seems laughable for Bama to be lower seeded than Vandy and Tenn...I would love for that bracket to happen...

First Round v. Boston College...extremely winnable
Second Round v. Texas A&M....Sweet 16 here we come
Third Rouond v. Villonova(probable)....another trip to the Elite 8

Alabama might get overlooked for a better seed, but it could work in our favor.

1. they are morons. I live in Bowling Green and no way does Western Kentucky make the tourny.
2. As of now, UT will not make tourny.
3. I DON'T WANT TEXAS A&M. Al, have you watched basketball this year.

Texas A&M is an excellent basketball team. No one will want to play them come tourney time.

Re: Updated ESPN Basketball Bracket - Pat Forde & Committee

I would like to be in this bracket as well....Texas A&M would be the hardest game by far until the final four and while that would be a tough game i think if we got through it we would have an easier road to the final four than the other sections.... i think wisconsin is the easiest 1 seed in that bracket....

They are practically a mirror image of Bama...the only difference is they are healthy

Law is a left handed Steele, I'd rather have Steele
Carter is just like Riley, threat from deep
Jones is a bruiser down low like Hendrix, Hendrix has a better all-around game
Kaiviouiodsopgf (big white guy) shoots from outside like Davidson
Their other starting guard is pretty insignificant offensively and that's where BAMA wins, we've got Gee

If you look at their stats they rely on four guys to do their scoring, Bama's got five or six guys very capable of scoring...

Don't forget they lost to LSU early on, they are playing better but I would much rather play them than Ohio St. in the second round...

Basketball is all about matchups and we matchup extremely well with Tex. A&M

Texas A&M doesn't play in the SEC enough said! I would like to see that scenario play out especially if we get on a roll. The ESPN idiots would be patting themselves on the hinny for their preseason predicts no doubt, lol!

Red face Re: Updated ESPN Basketball Bracket - Pat Forde & Committee

With the loss are we outside looking in? At this point probably, granted Duke would still be a top 5 seed cause they are young and no one else in the country can use that excuse.

I do think Bama will pull it together and make another solid run.

South Alabama has won 12 in a row and will finish no worse than a tie for first place in the Sun Belt. Makes no sense that they still have WKU listed for the tourney

And yet the Mitchell Center is packing them in at about 200 people per game..

Update: They had probably a couple thousand this past weekend's game.
