Parking at Coleman Coliseum -Students riding buses and parking for basketball games

Share

Most people may not know but Coleman is one of the areas that students park to catch the new bus system.

I drove by Coleman this evening around 8 o'clock. The parking lot was still half full with students parking to ride the bus.

I wonder if the administation has planned for when basketball season starts. Could be a real mess.

The schedules handle that. There are no basketball games on football game days. There are 2 the same weekend, but the BB game is on friday. Ah answered the wrong question.

The BB games during the week are at 6 pm. That won't be a problem for most commuters.

It is going to be interesting. They can't make students go elsewhere because that is where their Crimson Ride location is designated to. Interesting...and yes, it is always packed.

Re: Parking at Coleman Coliseum -Students riding buses and parking for basketball gam

Keep in mind that most students don't go to basketball games, so weekday games most students are done with classes by game time (which are mostly at night).

For day games, they're mostly on the weekends and once again, not a ton of students go to the games. And, a lot of the ones who do actually do walk - myself included.

Parking there and around campus won't be too big of an issue in my opinion.

Exactly my point in the previous post before yours. It won't be too big a deal in my opinion.
