uk coaching lineage: Great, good, drunken slappy......

Share

starting with Rupp, the list of coaches has followed a sequence:

Great (Rupp), Good (Hall), Drunken Slappy (Sutton),

then, back to

Great (Pitino), Good (Smith), Drunken Slappy (Gillespie)

Will Calipari follow the succession and make uk great again? I have to admit, I've always been impressed with the aura surrounding that program, and wouldn't mind seeing it again.

I was chatting with one of my UK friends last evening and he said that he thinks they are going to go on probation again. So we will see.

It sounded like the "past".

Losing a whole bunch of games and then going on probation would be a lot like "fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, son".
