the official CAG assistant coach discussion thread

Share

I just saw TideFans Reporter linked this story. It says that VCU has hired Florida assistant Shaka Smart as head coach.

VCU's assistant coaches are available to come to Alabama... if Anthony Grant wants them to - The Rap Sheet - al.com

Quote:
That means Grant's entire staff at VCU is available if he wants to ask the coaches to wear crimson shirts. It's not clear if Grant will take them all or add some in-state flavor. As of Monday night, none of the assistants knew Grant's plans. Maybe that changes now. On Sunday, Grant said, "I have to evaluate exactly what our needs are here at Alabama."
I thought I should bring at over to this forum in a thread where we can comment about it. They are
John Brannen
Allen Edwards
Jeremy Shyatt (director of operations)
