Talking UGA fans calling us delusional.....Hilarious!

Share

Every now and then I'll troll some other teams' message boards just to get a feel for their fan base. It's rare, but every now and then I'll do it. Recently I came upon a thread on UGA's basketball rivals page criticizing Bama fans and I just felt the need to respond. I tried not to be overbearing and it probably is childish of me for responding like I did, but man it's been pretty fun.

Caution: You may experience some nausea when reading some of the comments on this thread.

Otherwise....enjoy! By the way, my username is BamaBackerJr on this link.

Re: UGA fans calling us delusional.....Hilarious!

Those guys are seriously delusional, especially that one guy! The fact is Georgia whiffed over and over again in their coaching search and ended up having to "settle" for Fox, who I'm quite sure the vast majority of fans (anywhere) would not take over Anthony Grant, let alone people in charge of actually hiring coaches. But hey, if they're happy that's all that matters. I know I'm happy with CAG!

Re: UGA fans calling us delusional.....Hilarious!

I have read some of their stuff on the scout.com board, so I guess that that makes me as guilty as anyone, but I honestly don't think that I care what anyone thinks of Anthony Grant, other than the people that pay him, the guys on the team, and to a lesser extent, the fans. For our particular situation CAG was and is the perfect choice. The fact that he was our first choice makes things simpler, but at least in these early stages it seems that he was the right choice.

As far as UGa and Coach Fox goes, something for Georgia to think about, and this is 100% accurate if the circumstances are any indication: if WE had wanted the guy from Nevada he would be in Tuscaloosa right now and not Athens. The fact that we chose someone else should tell them everything that they need to know about how things fell out.

Yeah, I don't care what other fans think of CAG either, but sometimes it's a little enjoyable to push their buttons. It makes it a lot easier when their argument is inaccurate and totally based on mostly sour grapes.

Oh but Fox was their first and only choice too so they got exactly what they wanted.
