One comment on the ESPN contest. They probably sold a couple of million in banner advertising because of this contest. One first prize of $10,000.00 and one second prize of a $5,000.00 Gift Card isn't exactly impressive if you know what I mean.

To me if you outpick five million contestants you should win something pretty big. Not saying I couldn't use the ten grand by any means, but that just doesn't seem like a lot compared to the monumental size of the contest.

Carolina is showing why they were the pre-season pick to win it all, they are absolutely dominating State.

State showed their fight, but Carolina was just too much and too talented. Wish it could have been a better game but the better team clearly won.

UNC was so superior, they would have won by a comfortable margin, even with an evenly called game. Wonder why we didn't get one?

To me this National Championship game was simply unappealing. I mean we had two great programs going, but the Final Four this week simply felt like it was a back seat event to many other sporting events, news, etc. With the NBA wrapping up, the Jay Cutler trade (as a Bears fan, I go YAHOOOOOOOOOOO), to the opening of the MLB season, the National Championship game felt like a 2nd tier sporting event, even tho it shouldn't.

Personally, college basketball needs to back this tournament up back into March. The Nat'l Championship game should not be played in April. The college basketball season should conclude about a week before MLB starts their season.

They manhandled MSU! It seemed that the officials wanted to keep MSU in the game as much as they could!

One thing that irritates me is the continuous vacillation on the hand check rule. Once you allow any hand-body contact, period, it's a slippery slope.

I know. There was a lot of contact that wasn't called on MSU, but ticky-tack on UNC. I can't believe all of the obvious "reach-in" fouls that MSU was committing. Every time you go in over handed you are going to get called!
