Philip Pearson hired by Georgia as assistant

UGA hires Philip Pearson to new coaching staff - The Bama Beat - al.com

Quote:
Georgia will officially announce Pearson as an assistant coach later today, a source at UGA tells the Press-Register. Pearson joins the new staff being compiled by recent Bulldogs hire Mark Fox.
I think that is a great move by Georgia. Since Fox comes from a long distance away, you get someone familiar with recruiting the Southeast. And he is a great assistant too...he can fill in as interim coach when Fox gets fired. (just kidding!)

I wish Pearson nothing but the best. Unless of course he is recruiting against or playing Alabama.

Re: Philip Pearson hired by Georgia as assistant

This is a great spot for CPP, but it could surely hurt UA in recruiting.
