Who are some of the 2010 prospects?

Share

I read where Coach Grant has visited Luke Cothron, a 5 star PF who use to play at Butler High School in Huntsville. Ralston Turner is another guy who we need to keep in state, but who are some other prospects in-state or players to keep an eye on?

According to Jerry Meyer we are tied for the lead with NC State for Luke Cothron.

Turner and Cothron are two names we definitely need to get. Also PG Andre Stringer from Jackson, Miss. is a legit player that we have a great shot at. The former staff was in real tight with him. Not sure how the new staff fits in though

We should have spots open for Coleman, Jemison, Brock and Torrance, so I guess four. Plus someone always leaves for some reason so maybe five.

Coach Grant was in town Thursday checking out Ralston. His mom is pushing very hard for him to go to the Barn, but I believe we may could pull it off.

I really hope we can start keeping the in-state talent now with Grant and this should start with Ralston. Hopefully he'll roll with the Tide in the end. Grant seems to be every where recruiting alot of talent, hopefully some will decide to come here.

Well, the barn is known as an NBA pipeline. You have Barkley and Pearson and.........and.................. <crickets>

Any updated on any recruits? I have not heard anything about or from Turner in a while. I will see if I can find anything out though.

Looks like Ralston may be leaning toward LSU right now. Article about him today in the timesdaily.
