Big A Rico Pickett

In a surprising move, Rico Pickett has signed with Manhattan over the likes of Florida, Texas and UCONN.

Re: Rico Pickett

Rico chose Manhattan College in NYC over Florida and UConn among others. This write-up in today's NY Daily News explains why he chose Manhattan over all of the others:

Manhattan Jaspers upset UConn, Florida, land point guard Rico Pickett

Quote:
No one gave the Jaspers' coach much of a chance of landing Pickett. Not when UConn coach Jim Calhoun or head gator Billy Donovan could utter the words "national championship" in their sales pitches.
