CAG is already working his recruiting pipelines in Florida. Hopefully, this is just the beginning of a LONG and prosperous recruiting tenure with FL hoops.
I haven't had much luck with his statistics . Does anyone know what his assist to turnover ratio was this past season ?

I'm not totally familiar with HS Basketball recruiting, but for anybody who knows, does getting Eblen means Bama has no shot at landing Eric Bledsoe?

The quote of the week came when Upshaw noted the AU coaching staff was still recruiting him. “They said I could come to AU and be another Quentin Groves. I told them that I could go to Alabama and be another Quentin Groves,” he said.

He has some hurdles to clear in order to qualify so CAG's efforts would probably be better served elsewhere .

Eblen led Florida Air Academy of Melbourne, Fla., to a 25-1 record while averaging 10 points, eight assists and four steals during his senior season. As a sophomore, his team won the Class 3A state title. He is considered the 28th-best point guard by Scout.com, and Rivals has him as a three-star.
"Ben brings a combination of skill, selflessness and competitiveness that impacts winning," Grant said in a statement. "He also brings great leadership qualities."
Eblen originally signed with VCU, but asked for a release from his letter of intent when Grant left. No sooner had he reopened his commitment than the Crimson Tide's coach called.

Welcome aboard Ben! We are excited about the direction of our bball program at UA and can't wait to see you lead the team on the hardwood. RTR!

Bledsoe will probably qualify. It's one of those "whatever it takes" situations...

I'm not trying to say anything negative about the kid, I'm glad he chose Alabama and I don't know much about him either way. However, from what I can tell Grant is the only D1 coach that gave him a scholarship offer. Is this because he was so set on VCU/already committed or was the interest really that low?
