Rivals 150 updated-Alabama Prospects
Anybody have much insight into basketball recruiting? I just don't know it like I do football recruiting but I'm interested. Anyway the new Rivals 150 came out
Rivals.com Prospect Rankings Charles Hankerson made it and I don't think he was on it before. Came in as a three star ranked 128. I went through the list of non-committed players and listed those with interest and offers from us. If anybody's got any insight on these guys or who we are thought of as having the best chances at that would be great. 33. Luke Cothron, NC, 4 star 6'8 210 PF 47. Tarik Black, TN, 4 star 6'7 230 C 68. Jeremy Lamb, GA, 4 star 6'4 165 SG 93. Andre Stringer, MS, 4 star 5'9 170 PG (has us and LSU as only two schools listed as high so seems like were definitely in on him) 96. Neiko Hunter, AL, 4 star 6'5 220 SG (actually has no schools listed but he's from Eutaw Alabama so included him) 144. Ralston Turner, AL 3 star 6'5 195 SG There were a couple guys that were listed as having interest in us but not offers. |

They never give any updates on bamaonline. I guess they figure we could care less. It makes me mad because I really care about basketball and baseball and am really excited about the two upcoming seasons with new head coaches.

Ralston is a good prospect. I went to a few of his games last year. He's bigger than almost anyone he plays. I think his coaches are grooming him for the SG spot in college because the games I saw he never played inside the paint. He does have really good touch on his 3's. It would be nice to get an area guy down there.

I agree it would be nice to see something about B-ball recruiting. I enjoy football but wouldn't mind seeing who Coach Grant is going after. I'm assuming he is trying to get another big guy because they are pretty thin inside. How many scholarships do we have open this year?
