Mine is Shaun Alexander. He was a team leader and I loved watching him play, and I have ever purchased many of his games from Simon. He made his most lasting impression to me after he gave all the credit to God after our win at Florida in 99.
I have two Curry and Copeland my bookends..........

Alabama is 2- and 3-deep all over the place with full grown, meaner-than-he!! men. It's almost not fair making college kids play against them. Any Saban-coached team is going to be deep as he!! with recruits that have elite size, strength and experience at their position and they are going to play with incredible physicality.
I support PAWS.

Excellent choice. Alabama sure could use some more like him.
I think mine might be Mike Hall (All-American-1968). He didn't miss.
That is really, really difficult as we've had so many great players. However,
I guess if I'm forced to choose one player who I would consider my all-time favorite, I'd have to go with Cornelius Bennett.

Shaun Alexander, followed by Jay Barker. Both of these guys possessed a no quit attitude. While Shaun Alexander came to Alabama ready to rewrite the record book, it took Jay just a little longer to realize his potential. Both love the university and also realize there is a whole other world out there to live in. Finally and most importantly neither sacrificed their belief in God, and there were many chances I'm sure.
Also honorable mention would have to be Freddie Kitchens. Without a doubt Freddie is one of the toughest people to play at Alabama.......ever. Not only did he have to endure pounding after pounding on the field, he took poundings every Sunday in the paper whether he played well or not.
