Auburn / OU

OU has a good offense, but thier defense sucks. Auburn has a much more complete team. If you guys would take off your crimson colored glasses you would see this. If the two played can you honestly say that you think OU would win. We would put so many points on these guys it wouldn't be funny. i had been hoping OU would drop a game so we could have a rematch with USC. Now I have heard so much BS about how great OU is I would love for our team to get a crack at them.

If it came to it, I think OU could outscore Auburn. And yes, I know what Auburn has done defensively. OU's offense is that good.

But, that's the problem. Under the current system, you have to take someone's word as to whether one team is better than the other, instead of settling it on the field.

OU's defense

After losing Derrick Strait, Teddy Lehman, and Tommie Harris, OU's defense had some major work to replace those key players. We think we got a lot of our secondary problems under control by bringing a freshman DB out of redshirt two weeks ago. Against the run, forget about it. OU also kept the nation's leading passer, Sonny Cumbie, fom throwing a TD pass for the only time this year.
OU hasn't had the defense you've been used to seeing the last few years, but if you think their defense sucks, it would be fun to line it up against Auburn and let you try to prove that statement. BTW, your defense wants no part of Jason White.

Huey,
if AU had played a team with half the offenses that OU has played your defense wouldn't look so impressive either. Name one team that has a potent offense that is on your schedule? None.
