enjoy Spurrier
I think the most accurate way for me to say it is that I "enjoy" Spurrier. I agree with those who've said that they're glad he's back in the SEC.
Among most of the folks who don't like him, I think Spurrier is more in the category of someone that they "love to hate" as opposed to just plain old "hate."  But, I'm sure there are exceptions to that rule.I still love the picture of him grimacing when Alabama beat UF for the second time in the same season, in that blowout SECCG.

I neither like nor dislike him. He can be incredibly funny and smart at times but then he can be a complete jerk. I will tell you this, I damn sure respect his coaching abilities.

He brought SEC offenses into the 90s. All other teams were thinking, dang, we need to pass more, go long on 4th and 1, and "he called THAT?". I am very happy with Shula, but if Bama had hired Spurrier, I would have (tried) done a back flip.
