Big A Nick Walker....

I believe this "kid" is going to be a stud before it's all said and done. He's a man- child and I really believe he can be a huge asset for Alabama in the very near future. I think we should really try (like we did against Arkansas) to get him more involved b/c not only can he make plays - it will take some pressure off our wide receivers and help out our running game. He will be another great Alabama tight end... Ozzie Newsome, Howard Cross, Rod Rutledge....

What do you guys think about Walker and his abilities, along with his future and how we're using him?

I think he will be utilized more in the future. I know this has been discussed a lot...perhaps the reason they are not throwing to him a bit (save Arkansas) is to keep another blocker on the o-line for Brodie. I think that since the line has gelled and matured up to Arkansas, it has allowed him to run more routes instead of staying back for the extra help. I'd say he's gonna see a lot more action now that the o-line is maturing.

Patience...he's young, so are our QB's. The future holds something special for that young man.

I don't know that using him right. he is best when he can go up and get the ball. throwing to him out in the flat just doesnt let him keep moving b/c he has to turn and go up field. we need to send him down the seam b/c he can definitely beat a safety. I think he is going to be great before he leaves. he is just a freshman.

He's tall and has good hands. I've always liked him more than Davidson except for blocking.

I still don't expect to see us throw to the TE much this season. We need all the help we can get to shore up a still relatively weak offensive line. I figure that a year or two from now, we will see the TE become more of an offensive weapon in this system, but for the time being, we need them to protect more than anything else.

his potential is unlimited, but we must have an offense that includes him in the mix...so far he's been tossed a few bones but he needs to figure more in our scheme...will that happen...Radar keeps saying it will...
