If any of you guys have Tide Pride seats, how long were you guys on the waiting list before you got tickets? I'm thinking about getting it for the 2007 season. Exactly how much would the whole package cost me if I decide to donate for seats in the extra point club ($80 per seat) for the 2007 season as I would be getting two season tickets?
Any more information on Tide Pride seats that I need to know would be greatly appericated!
It is my understanding that once you pay that $80 per seat you then would pay for the actual season tickets.
$80 X 2
$50 X 2 (per home game)
Let's say there are six home games that year. That would be $100 a game or $600 for the entire season (assuming tickets are $50). That would give you a total of $760. I am probably wrong so don't take my word as final. Hopefully someone will correct me if I am wrong.

You are almost correct. The total cost will be the Tide Pride donation ($80.00 per seat) plus the cost of the tickets. Not all tickets are $50. I would expect only the Auburn game this season to be $50 (unless there is a ticket price increase like there was a Tide Pride donation increase) and the others to be between $30 and $45. Using the 2006 season as an example, add the total cost of all individual game tickets plus the Tide Pride donation and multiply by 2 for two season tickets.

A good game plan vigorously executed right now is far better than a perfect game plan executed next week. General George Patton (paraphrased)
We are in the Bama Club and our tickets went up a total of $20 ea. for this year. Our total is $1,182.00 for 2 tickets. Therefore each season package this year is $351.00 plus your donation. Therefore if you can get into the extra point club, each season package will cost you $431.00. I could be off by a few bucks but this is close. We get all of our tickets with friends and they are paid for in one lump sum, so I don't see the actual renewel form, but know what they cost us.
As for getting tickets here is the best thing to do. First, it is very hard to limit yourself to one club level and expect to get in...especially the Extra Point Club because it is the least expensive and a lot of people are attempting to get those tickets. The good news for this year is that (I am guessing here) a lot of the 10,000 new seats will be purchased by some people looking to upgrade and therefore there will be more available tickets. In any event, if you can afford it, the best thing to do is to put the Extra Point Club as your first choice, but be willing to go up a level (assuming you can afford it).
Many years ago, when we first joined TidePride we actually didn't get tickets and we went up 3 or 4 levels! It took us two years to get in even with that. Again, the good news is that there are 10,000 more seats this year...the bad news for you is that we are coming off of a 10 win season with high expectations!
Good luck!

I applied for Tide Pride back in the fall of 2005 and heard nothing. About a month ago, I got a letter from Tide Pride saying that a few tickets had opened up due to the expansion, but those requests had to be made by February 7. I feel extremely fortunate to get tickets without having to wait. But with 8 home games...that's going to be a HUGE chunk of change for 2 seats.
Call the Tide Pride office. They want to sell tickects and you want to buy...I bet you meet with success! I did several years ago on my initial purchase and last year when I upgraded.

Hmmm...I just got a letter this week. I was a TP member for yrs. then let it lapse. I re-applied in Nov. I had wanted the Crimson Tide or Touchdown Club yet was told they were full. I was given the chance to join TP at the Century or Extra Point level, yet my response is due in by March 1st. Wonder why the discrepancy in dates.
I really don't want the Century or Extra Point seats, yet wonder if I should go ahead and re-join just to get back into TP and hopefully move up the ladder (maybe?). I have sideline seats that I love, yet I have a feeling sooner or later the entire stadium will be TP.

I joined the Extra Point Club just to get my foot in the door. I'll probably be selling those seats this year and be sitting in the student section one last time. I just couldn't let an opportunity like the expansion go to waste.
