Isn't that where we finished in the polls? I imagine the top 10 for NFL talent list would be very similar to the final top 10 poll.

Talent Factories

Talent Factories

Once again, these seniors are special because they came even when we had troubles.

Now you know why we will have some challenges with losing all these players. Coach Kines rotation of players may save us, however.

"The 'Noles churn out defensive studs like Bobby Bowden throws out one-liners. FSU could have four go in the first round, including one, Cromartie, who is so talented that scouts don't seem to mind that he had one career start and missed last season with a knee injury."

They can't be serious!

What, about Cromartie? Believe it, because he's one of the fastest rising prospects in this draft, he could easily go in the first round.

Re: Bama ranked #7 for best NFL talent this year

there is a strong possibility that fsu will have 4 go in the first round. sims, bunkley, wimbley, and cromartie. there is also talk of some teams looking hard at another seminole, aj nicholson. there is a lot of buzz surrounding cromartie, by most accounts he's worked out really well in front of team scouts.

FSU will have four players go within the first 32 picks. Bama will probably have four players go within the first 100 picks. RTR.

Re: Bama ranked #7 for best NFL talent this year

Roman Harper has been a surprise. Of course, he probably impressed scouts with his intellect and leadership ability as it definately takes brains to play safety in the NFL. His game tapes show instinctive, aggressive angles and solid tackling ability, but he's not exceptionally big or fast. NFL types probably see him contibuting as a nickel back in zone coverages.

Mark Anderson was supposed to be the most NFL-coveted Tide defender after Demeco Ryan, but most mock drafts now have Anderson going somewhere around the 90-92 pick, right after Roman Harper. RTR.
