I don't think the staff will ever offer a grayshirt to a QB again (Wilson). There are just too many new prospects that come onto the scene each year. I doubt that we will carry more than 4 scholarshipped QBs at a time. So, I think signing more than one QB a class from here on out isn't too likely to happen (unless we have attrition).

In the article it states that our coaches have informed recruits that we are only going to sign one qb this year. That is why we are saying that we are only going to sign one. |

6'4 190 + 4.9 40. Wow your asking a lot of an offensive line putting a QB of that figure in the backfield. Unless he can put on some quality weight I am not sure he would be a good fit given the way we burn through QB's.
Voss is already in a good weight range and posses enough speed to scramble or at least roll out of the pocket when necessary. All other things equal I think Voss would be a better fit.

From my understanding Ross Wilson doesn't have the height most major D 1 schools are looking for and if memory serves me correct he is a better baseball prospect than JP was. So I would invision him taking that route.

Thats cool with me then. I just think with these kids senior season coming up and the uncertainty of how everything will play out that its way to early to say one and done. Just too many things can happen between now and signing day. I think we got real lucky last year with McElroy switching late or we probably would'nt even have signed a true qb. Maybe that is what the coaches are thinking about for this year, allthough we did sign 2 qbs last year considering Alexander as a qb.
