Will Miss. State Have An Opportunity To Tear Down A Goal Post This Year?

They may have a shot at defeating Jacksonville State in Starkville (HC) on 10/14.

I've often wondered where those goalposts go when they leave Scott Field. As far as I know, there are a couple of pizza joints and a truck stop close by.

Those folks know how to party.

Sure they will. When they bulldoze the whole field after throwing in the towel on the football program.

I though they were going to tear them down at halftime last weekend after they scored their first TD of the season.

Hey, here's a good one...

Have you seen MSU's new "veer offense"?

They snap the ball and veer out of bounds on each play.

The Jacksonville State game may present that opportunity. Although, at this point no game is a given for the 'Dawgs. Memories of Maine could resurface during that game.

There will be one team they want this year.

Take your best guess.

JSU is much better than Maine was year before last.

Maybe if they hold West Virginia to under 50 points! Unlikely though.

If UAB beats the dogs this weekend, they have a realistic possibility of not winning a game the entire season. JSU may be their only other opportunity. Ole Miss is bad, but they can pretty well go ahead and put that golden egg back on their trophy shelf, lol.

After watching them try to run any type of offense, I'm not sure they can compete with anyone this year. They are without a doubt one of the worst teams I've ever seen.
