A Little Fun - New Rules for this years Iron Bowl.

Just for fun, lets see what we can come up with. I'll start with a few.... Please add your "rule", not comments. This is for fun!!!!!

#1 - In order to make the game fun for the fans with touchdowns being scored. The defenses will only be allowed to play 9 players.

#2 - Any fieldgoal that is kicked, the team that kicked it will be rewarded points based on the distance. 1-20 yards is 2 pts, 20-40 yards is 3pts, and 40 and beyond is 5pts.

#3 - This years Iron bowl will be general admission. First come first serve as long as you have a ticket. The gates open at 7am. All Aubarn fans please report to the new upper deck. Any fans wishing to sit, must sit in the two East/West Upper decks, or the skyboxes. No sitting will be allowed in the lower bowl. Beer/Mixed drinks will be served in student section and sections A thru N-5. For our non-drinking rowdy fans, please report to sections CC - NN.

#4 - Music will be played over the P.A. in between every play. The bands will play as much as they can.

#5 - Rammer Jammer will be played every quarter if we are winning.

6. Any team that attempts a forward pass will be penalized as follows:

a. First offense is a 15 yard penalty and loss of down.
b. Each subsequent offense the football shall be awarded to the opposing team.

This is fun.

7. There will be no overtime.
8. There will be no instant replay.
9. Play by play announcer will be boiled alive at halftime.
10. Color commentator will be escorted out of the stadium at halftime.

11. Wide receivers that don't point to the side judge when lining up shall be dis-qualified from participation.

#12 - Any time a running back does not gain a yard on a carry. He will be required to leave the game and the next guy in line will enter the game until he doesn't gain any yards.

#13. At halftime, both teams cheerleaders must strip down to bra and panties for a 50 yard line tickle fight.

#14 - We allow Earle with laptop in hand. On the sidelines as a representitive of the Tidefans as an advisor to Mike Shula on calling plays. Play suggestions will be set up in a sticky at the top of the page. You may also request subs and any coaching suggestions.

#15: The Barners are NOT allowed to bring their sheep in or near the stadium.

i wouldnt mind this rule being in effect for every game !

# 16 Because the Barners are under law that they arent allowed to talk, we tie them up and replay videos of Lamar Thomas talking so they understand how stupid they sound when they speak.

#16- Any Bama fan not seen yelling and cheering full throttle will be ejected from the stadium. There will be a stand-by line outside and those rabid fans will be allowed to enter after funneling a six-pack of beer.

#17: Tommy Tuberville will be required to wear an alarm device on each ear. When he turns his head, the beeps will sound to alert everyone that the "ears are turning" so as to avoid further injury to innocent bystanders.

#18. No helmets, No pads, Brass nuckles issued to each player along with baseball bats and ladders.....ECW style.......

I sit in section N-6...will I be able to partake in the beer/mixed drinks? If not I will have to carry in my flask. Now that I think about it...that would be cheaper. I'll bring my own fire water...we'll toast together though.
