I didn't complain about play calling this year or in GS tenure.

I love smash mouth ball control patient football - I think most fans these days want to see more exciting offense.
You got have a stingy agressive defense (opposite of joe kines - not JL Dunn exteme) and ball hogging offense.

The best defense is a good offense - If you get it down the field painfully slow and patient with a TD - there is nothing prettier

These coaces these days it's real hard to out score them but if their offense is sitting on their fannies they have a hard time scoring.

I loved the Auburn-SC game when SC did not even get an offensive play the entire 3rd quarter.
