Funny , the word is we've already lost 1 or 2 . What happens next ?
To this point , the guys have only been lifting weights . Monday is when the off-season S&C program actually begins .
Good luck !!!

LCN, this the third week the players have been running with S&C. They increased the load each week. This week has been called 4th QUARTER. First week of running 5 days in the week. First two weeks, just Monday,Wednesday and Friday. Word is, workouts are very demanding to say the least. Tuesday and Thursday no strength work, but 2-20 minute periods back to back nonstop conditioning. You, are right we have lost a few. Many have stated just the work in the weightroom has been very tough with many getting sick. We will get much better because of it. Saban's knows we must become winners in the off-season and that is where championships are won.
Any chance someone can say what they are actually doing? I am looking to mix up my workouts and just want to see what big time athletes are doing. I am not sure if that is a board violation to disclose, if so, ignore this post.
Yeah, I know for a fact that something has been going around campus, I got sick on Sunday but was better by Monday night. That might've helped some of the football players get sick. Also, the men's track team (whom I run for) has had some guys missing due to sickness and my coach said today that one guy had it confirmed by the school doctors that he had the flu.
Something's going around campus, that's for sure. But great news about the S & C...definitely sounds like those guys are working their arses off!

It'll only get tougher . 4th quarter of pre-s&c . During the afternoon presser , Saban said that it will all start for real on Monday . God help 'em . They'll need it .

S&C, will continue. The position coaches and CNS will have a few days off after grueling recruiting trips. Great, job by the new staff!!!!!! Next week the players will start spend time with there position coaches. Spring will be awesome.
I think everyone expected some to leave, im sure there will be a few more. Thinning out the Herd if you ask me. The ones that stay will be the ones who dont give out in the second half and stop playing, ONE OF OUR WORST PROBLEMS LAST YEAR!! If they will lay down on you in S&C and in practice, then they will do the same on the field!! CNS is making the team that he spoke about in his first press conference!
