I have a feeling that after the first letter, there will be no others, it will be a hasty dissociation.

How about revoking their season tickets and THEN sending them a dirty letter or two or three. Maybe five.

This is disheartening. I can't believe a booster would be stupid enough to pull something like that after what we've been through.

How about instead of sitting down and being quiet we stand up and make some noise at the games. There are times in Bryant Denny that people just sit and never make any noise. I go to about 4-5 games a year and am amazed at the lack of noise 92138 people can make. Just in case you were wondering I was at the UF and UT games in 2005. They are the exception. EVERY game should be like those two! RTR

Amazing how minor violations by Bama make the front page of the al.com sports section.

Why we have Rappaport as our beat writer is beyond me. He's an M$U homer from over here who took shots at Bama while being the M$U beat writer for The Clarion-Liar, er Ledger.

I've just about decided al.com is decidely anti-Bama.

They should give out the names and addresses of these boosters who violates these rules, so they feel the wrath of Bama Nation. These people should be dealt with, harshly!

Does the fact that we were still on probation still apply here?
I know they are "minor" infractions but c'mon. A gift is a gift and ride is a ride. I think common sense dictates here. Nothing, and I mean nothing, should be given to a recruit.
If you have to ask, "Could I get the university or myself in trouble if I do this" then odds are "Yes" and you should forfeit to common sense.

I mean...........not only did the boosters not learn a lesson from recent history but we were STILL ON PROBATION!!!!!!!.
Unbelievable.
