What will have to happen this season to make you believe we're getting better?

Ok, this is a serious question. Don't say things like win more games....be specific. What are you looking for out of our team that will let you know we are climbing out of the hole?

I say competing in every quarter and pulling out a couple of wins later in the game (the kind we haven't been winning in recent years).

Less stupid penalties

No more bucket step

Winning the short yardage plays

Scoring more than 14 points a game

Playing hard for 60 minutes.

Continuous improvement throughout the season. I don't feel that last year we were much if any better at the end of the season than we were at the beginning.

Also, i expect to not see any players with their hands on their hips sucking wind during the 4th quarter.

Steady positive progress from game to game.

Offensive production that goes up as the players become more familiar with the system, not production that dwindles as opposing teams get more film.

That's a good point. Actually from what I remember we actually got worse as the season progressed.
