Good post. But even though I know most of you in here may scoff at this, the ONLY team that deserves a shot is Hawaii. They have a schedule that is approved by the NCAA, and they won every game they played. Put LSU, OK, OSU, GA, or VA TECH in the game with them, and let the best team win. You might be surprised at who would win or how close it would be. If you are truly a student of the game, you have to admit that Hawaii has a QB and a sophisticated passing game that is second to none this year in the NCAA.

I know you're just messing with me, but my point was that LSU beat a RANKED Arky team...based on the guidelines laid out by SCS, that it be the polls at the end of the regular season. Right now, with the regular season over, Arky is ranked.

If you wanna go the other way, and use the polls at gametime, then KY was ranked when they beat us.

I don't mind or care who is in here, just curious what stirred the interest. As i said, I must be in the minority but I couldn't care less what is going on on the other team sites. I've got a wife, 2 kids, and a full time job, and barely enough time to spend on my own teams site.

Fishead,

No disrespect intended, but I really think Oklahoma would beat you guys. Their loss to Colorado is hard to explain, I agree, but so is you guys losing AT HOME to Arky. Plus, you guys lost to what appears to have been a very overrated Kentucky team. While you guys have limped into the position that you are in now, OU really appears to be clicking on all cylinders since their loss to TT, which is no pushover. I think your team may have just as much raw talent as OU, but they are simply playing better and probably have fewer injuries to deal with.

No disrespect taken, I cannot argue that. I've NEVER said LSU should be in the MNC game. I merely disagreed with the poster who claimed the reason was because LSU lost to 2 unranked teams.

Ohio State didn't have the pressure of winning a conference championship game, and LSU lost to an unranked team (KY) and the team ranked 25th (ARK). Remember, it is the final ranking that teams are measured by, not the ridiculous "opinions" during the season.

with all due respect oklahoma lost to two unranked teams - including one very poor team colorado.

I don't think Colorado qualifies as a very poor team. They wound up 6-6 and hung 65 on Nebraska. Although Prattville probably could put that many on that Nebraska D.
