When a recruit doesn't make it into D1, and has to go to Hargrave or any other prep school, who pays for the kids tuition? I've heard/read that the tuition at a prep school can be more expensive than university tuition.

Hargraves offers scholarships, grants, student loans, and other financial assistance. Hargraves "Post-graduate" program is essentially like Junior College.
The military schools offer scholarships to the kids that Universities want to place. My Uncle is the football coach at one of the military schools in VA. and gave my Dad and I a tour of the facility this past summer. It was pretty cool place to see. My Uncle kept telling my Dad and myself that a lot of these kids are good kids but never had any discipline in their life (always allowed to do whatever because they played football) and when they get to school, it is a huge change in their environment. They either learn to accept discipline or the leave.
With all of these big time recruits that Hargrave has each year, why have more Hargrave games made it onto national television coverage. Many schools are recruiting and will be recruiting out of this program, you would think that there is a whole market out there of fans that are trying to get a look at the future D-1 players that this football factory feels there roster with each year. I know that I would watch it. This year Hargrave put out as many college prospects as any high school team in the country and high school football has caught on as somewhat of a media darling as the following of recruiting continues to grow. This just seems to be one more football team that I could see myself interested in following. Anyone agree with this? Would you watch a Hargrave game depending on the date/time/opponent?

Just merely speculating, but I don't think that anybody needs to be glorifying prep school to any extent. If you put those games on TV it sorta sends the message that Prep School is an "OK" route to follow.
To me, it seems that Prep Schools are a necessary evil when it comes to the athletics. A "scholar" athlete should be trying to go straight to college by working their tail off in high school (I'm not saying that all kids who go to prep school slacked off in high school).
Are they Jr colleges? So who do they play in Football? This seems like a school between high school and college.
Against some of the JV teams from schools like VaT , W.Va , Navy , etc. along with some small colleges and other military or prep schools . They're usually on the road .

T-town, I wasn't ticked at the "Hargraves" thing, just pointing out his mistake. It's kind of like people referring to former Tide WR and current Clemson assistant Dabo Swinney as "Dabo Sweeney".
