Re: CFN Midseason report card SEC

Why do so many critics predict UGA to beat LSU and us to lose to them, when we man-handled UGA like we did. We both play LSU at Baton Rouge, right? What leads so many to think that way. Granted, I personally think LSU is the team who can beat us, if anyone can, but I don't understand the logic behind all that.

We play LSU in Baton Rouge. Though we have played much better on the road.

Re: CFN Midseason report card SEC

Seems as we're often getting knocked for our close win over Ole Miss more than Florida is getting knocked for actually losing to them.

Big A Re: CFN Midseason report card SEC

Auburn beating Ole Miss is a joke. Ole Miss will manhandle their lines in my opinion.

Re: CFN Midseason report card SEC

I predict Auburn having two more wins, this season, but I think they will come against West Virginia and UT-Martin. I do not think they will win another SEC game.

I think the doubts may come from the way we have played in the 2nd half of our games. We have had to hold on to win after totally dominating games in the first half. If the Ga. and Ole Miss games had been close at half, who knows. We have got to start playing better in the 2nd half. I stated in another post it seems we get to conserative and don't have the same intensity after halftime.

Funny how that works huh?

Re: CFN Midseason report card SEC

A couple of comments if I may.

First -
Quote:
Ten best SEC players in the first half of the season
1. Andre Smith, OT Alabama
2. Michael Oher, OT Ole Miss
3. Matthew Stafford, QB Georgia
4. Terrance Cody, DT Alabama
5. Eric Berry, S Tennessee
6. Knowshon Moreno, RB Georgia
7. Brandon Spikes, LB Florida
8. Trevard Lindley, CB Kentucky
9. Michael Smith, RB Arkansas
10. Charles Scott, RB LSU
I know he's had fumblitis lately, but Glen Coffee deserves to be in this list. His 7.0 yard per carry average is just unreal.

Then this-
Quote:
The SEC Champion will be ... Florida over Alabama
There's nothing wrong with that prediction. IF Bama and UF should actually meet in the SECCG, Florida is as good as anyone and could beat Bama. Of course, it could go the other way just as easily.

However, he follows it up with this-
Quote:
...but if Nick Saban's bunch can go into Death Valley and rip away the SEC West title, it might be time to book tickets to Miami on January 8th.
Does anyone else see the contradiction here?
