CNS= Bear Bryant?

Not so fast! They may both be winners, National Championship holders (one with about 9 more), Great coaches, and they both bring immense respect to our program but I found this little quote by The Bear that made me laugh.

"Recruiting is the one thing I hate. I won't do it unless my coaches tell me I've just got to. The whole process is kind of undignified for me and the young man."

What is the "point" of your post? I don't think any of us have drawn any such conclusion. In fact, I grow weary of such posts.

Are you just trying to stir something up here, or, as asked above, is there any point to this post?

CNS has a long row to hoe before Bama fans start thinking of him like they do CPB. Heck, right now, he hasn't even accomplished what Stallings did at Alabama...

I cant believe anyone would even think such a thing. I kinda think this person who started this thread is trying to bate us to see how big of a fool we are.

I'm thinking he just wanted to find some differences to compare. He doesn't realize while CNS needs to be tenacious in recruiting. CPBB had to recruit about as hard as basketball coach John Wooden did at UCLA.

Why even make the comparison? They are their own men. They are both great and successful coaches. There is no need to compare. Nonetheless they get the job done!
