yup i knew he was from michigan but i cant remember him being anything special in college. i wouldnt consider jpw special either but who know, in the right circumstances he could become the next all pro out of nowhere
I wish him the best of luck. I am not sure if he is as beloved as Jay Barker (not to mention the past greats like Starr, Namath, and Stabler), but he will still leave a legacy in T-town. He did a lot of things well.

If he winds up on a practice squad, he should feel lucky. I don't mean for that to sound the way it does, but I just do not believe he is remotely ready to be on an NFL team.
I think he should go back to baseball. Didn't he get drafted?

He wasn't anything special (yet), hence the late round draft pick...but he absolutely lit us up in the 2000 Orange Bowl. Milo Lewis is still having nightmares.

Or he can just do commercials with Zow and Prothro for Tom and T-Town Fashions.
Either way, as long as this guy stays within the state of Alabama, he's set. Funny story was back in 2003, I was working as an engineering intern for a major manufacturing company here in Tuscaloosa, and I needed to order some parts. I called the place and on the other line the guy said, "Hello, this is Andrew Zow."
I later found out that he was working as a middle man. You called him to tell him what you wanted to order, and he'd order it for you. As dumb as an idea as that sounds, I think Andrew racked up doing that. And Tyler Watts sells insurance, I think, in addition to his role with the Crimson Tide Sports Network.
JP will do well. This kid was (almost unfairly) criticized for most of his career. If I had a chance to be the starting QB for Alabama, despite my limitations, I'd jump on it. And as long as the HC had me there, I'd stay there...despite my limitations. I appreciate all that he did for the program.
