south carolina???? are you kidding me? let's forget the redneck meth head experience for a sec. they play this raunchy strangled chicken noise every time something good for them happens. that noise is an embarrassment to the animal kingdom and im not sure they are going for a rooster sound or just killing something in a back room. then columbia is hot as hell. then you have to listen some of the most lame and unoriginal smack talk. it should only make a top 10 list of dumps.
I have been to all the sec stadiums. I agree LSU is the loudest stadium, I think BDS is excellent, one of the top in the sec, UT is built in the middle of ghetto and is pure trash, a 80k stadium they squeeze 104k in just to say they can do it. MSU is by far the worst. I do like Ole miss, Its a great place to tailgate.
These 2 rankings are complete bs! Bama unbiasedly has the best football stadium
in all of these categories mentioned.. That would be in terms of aesthetics and design, the existing upkeep and shape of the structure, the capacity with the inpending upgrades, the technology presently provided in the atmosphere and game not to mention the planned expansion segment, the outside of the stadium as far as landmarking plus the entrance,UA's campus surrounding the stadium, the last 5 years in fan noise has done a 180 and games are tremendously stable as far as noise factor,pre-game videos and tradition and last the atmosphere as a whole with the quad, campus, the museum, etc.
Its not even close its so funny.

I dont think there is any doubt that BDS is the nicest stadium in the SEC. Others might have advantages in other areas, but when it comes to pure aesthetics, its BDS hands down.
The cowbell tradition at MSU is just about as ridiculous as throwing toilet paper in a tree. But at least no Bama fan has to look at the latter. And UT fans themselves complain about the seating at Neyland; as in seats with no backs, and so crowded they are sitting in each other's lap. No way they deserve a #3 ranking. And 39k plus for seating capacity at MSU? That's ridiculous for an SEC team. I'm hoping my memory serves me right on that one.
Whoops, I was wrong. 55k plus for MSU and Vandy for 39k. Still ridiculous

Reason: wrong fact
neyland should not be in the top half. that place is awful. it's a ghetto.
Oh, I disagree. Aside from BDS, my two favorite SEC stadiums are Neyland and Tiger Stadium. Neyland is something like a sardine can for cheap seats, and Tiger Stadium is a hard place for an opposing fan on a losing night. But overall, those are the #2 and #3 stadiums in the conference. Vaught-Hemingway comes in #4 for having the second most beautiful women.
The rest of the places? Dumps.

I pretty much agree. You couldn't pay me to go to Georgia again.
I guess I am in the minority here. I have been to games (mostly Bama) at every SEC stadium except South Carolina. I will NEVER go back to LSU or Tennessee to watch a game. I enjoy rivalry as much as the next guy, but how I was treated was beyond acceptable and even when you win some of the fun is taken out of it, at least for me.
MSU is not big and is dated, but (even with the cowbells) it is fun to go to a game there. I have been to losses and wins. The sky decks (where I prefer to sit) have an enclosed area for the concessions that is very nice. The new big screen is awesome if you sit on the correct end if the field, and I have never been mistreated.

You can ask Earle for confirmation on this: Any seasoned Bama traveler will tell you MSU and UGA are the two worst places for a Bama fan to be on game day. MSU even mistreats Bama's media. I'll stop at that, but trust me--if you've avoided being mistreated at MSU, you've been extremely lucky.
Of course LSU has its fair share of idiots, but they are hospitable idiots. Even the Barn's antics pale in comparison to the MSU faithful's treatment of anyone who happens to wear Crimson.
I've been in a sky box in the MSU stadium and that was pretty nice. At least up there you don't have to listen to but a few obnoxious MS State fans and NO cowbells! AND BTW there was 2 happy Bama fans up there that day grinnin' from ear to ear while eatin' their food and drinkin' their beer!!

Vandy's stadium is just liked BDS, pre-expansion. Like, before the first expansion.
You mean "Denny Stadium" then.
