1) Health and Eligibility of Team - I notice that McElroy was described as only about 189# during the spring game. Does he have enough size to succeed at this level and will he be able to stay healthy? Also, could any of our players fail to be qualified because of academics or suspensions?
2) Will our O Line be up to the task of protecting the QB and mounting a dual-threat attack?
3) Will the team handle adversity when it comes?
I am sure there are others, but I'll leave this for you to ponder and expound upon.
We have talent at every position, but will the inexperience be too hard to overcome? You have to wonder if the leadership will be enough to lead us to another dream season. Crazy things can and do happen in the course of a game. Will we have leaders to lead the team during these times? Hopefully this season won't cause us to realize just how invaluable and irreplaceable - at least for the short term - JPW, Smith, Caldwell, and Johnson were.
The best thing that the Bama Nation can do is to saddle our expectations and realize that this is a whole new ballgame. Stellar recruiting bring in great players; it will take time to make a great team once again. Perhaps it will be this year. If not, it may be evident when we go to Atlanta or Oxford or even in our own backyard.

#3 Kicker
#2 Leadership (although on the O side, i think McElroy will be a great leader)
#1 O-Line

That's the kind of football team we want."

Re: Top Three Things That Concern You About Upcoming Season
1. O line - just hope that we can adequately fill the positions left vacant by the outgoing jr and sr's.
which leads to
2. running game - hoping that Ingram and Upchurch can stay healthy and carry the load. I don't doubt TR's abilities, but he IS a freshman. I hope we don't miss Coffee......
3. leadership on the offensive side. I think the defense will have it's on-the-field leader and general. Who will fill that role on offense?

Ingram WAS a freshman last season too and I, for one, was fairly excited to watch him play. Maybe TR can meet or exceed Ingram's performance.
Re: Top Three Things That Concern You About Upcoming Season
1. Pass Rush - The one piece missing for a truly dominant defense.
2. Offensive Line - Vague, I know, but as I see it, the combination of replacing Andre, Antoine, and Marlon, on top of breaking in a new QB and starting RB is a tough combination. If the OL shines, breaking in a new QB and starting RB will take care of itself.
3. Playmakers on offense - I think Julio is probably our only offensive player that truly scares defenses. I want to see Maze or Trent become guys who can take it to the house on any given play. That sure would help McElroy out a lot.
