I'll be firmly in LaTech's corner this weekend. Is it on the Elbonian network?
I can't believe at one point & time I rooted for them except for when they played Bama..I always wanted us both to be in the top 10 when we played The Iron Bowl..Now I wish they would lose every game they play just so the Barner Fans can live in misery..They're a sad bunch that's for sure..

Re: Things are finally back to normal

To be fair, if an Auburn player found a $100 on the street, we would all be calling for penalties for improper benefits saying that Lowder "dropped" it or something. I am thinking we have enough sense not to in that case, but you get my drift.

i believe the quote (at 6am) was something to the effect of "Dont you folks take your football seriously?"
Exactly.............

Cool Re: Things are finally back to normal

Back to the 70's?

I thought that Auburn was the one that did all the cheating in the 70's. They're the only program of the two showing infractions during that decade.

Indeed it's 1970 all over again... Alabama is focused on National Championships while Aubarn is focused on.... well, Alabama!
This is the most accurate thing I will read all day.

LOL.

I think it is actually on ESPNU. I hope to get a quarter of AU missery in before our game starts.

That's the ironic beauty of it. "Back to the 70's" means going back to a decade of such complete domination that the only way AU keeps up is to break the rules.

Re: Things are finally back to normal

We'll just focus on the game this week and let them worry about what happened with the NCAA. It seems an event occurred, it was reported, a judgment was made, and action has already been taken on that judgment. As far is that is concerned it is over and done with. I'm ready for VT hoping to make it back to Atlanta in early December. Besides, the only way they can escape the mess they have on their hands for this season is to concentrate on what their rivals are doing.
