I didnt want to start a new thread cause I couldnt see the article on ESPN but does anybody have a clue what they mean by Alabama has a major chink in their armour????
They are referring to your passing game. I listened to espn, and rivals radio all morning on sattelite.
Re: Chris Culliver not particularly impressed with Alabama!
Sounds to me like Chris Culliver is really not impressed with South Carolina. Saying we should beat them worse is basically him saying that his crappy team shouldn't be able to stay in the field with us.

Re: Chris Culliver not particularly impressed with Alabama!
Not trying to get everybody upset, but some of us were saying the same things after the game.
Not trying to take anything away from Mr. Culliver because he is entitled to his opinion, but who looked like the best team in America this weekend? Here's the deal, and Mark May probably said it best in College Football Final the other night: you can't expect a college team to come out week after week and play to the highest level each and every week. I'm sorry. It just can't be done. That's what makes college football so awesome. These a kids! They have their ups and downs. You try to keep things as even keel for them as possible, but they still have to go out and play and do it for themselves.
Sorry. Didn't mean to rant. By the way, Mr. Culliver, you still have another number in your "L" column.

I will say that we are no where near the perfect team from top to bottom. We have had issues in every game that we have all said need to be corrected. But I still havent seen another team that I think can beat us. So while we may have chinks in armor, we are still pretty stinkin good.
Go down the top 25 and guess at what the point spread would be...are there any teams that would be favored over us this week? No says I.

Ellis Johnson already scolded Culliver publically for his comments (those and some others about the defensive schemes USC ran), stating that maybe if Culliver learned to tackle USC could've stopped Ingram. Heard it live on radio this morning. I suspect Culliver won't be doing many more interviews this season.
That said, the kid is a player and leaves it all on the field each game, so take the comments more as frustration than anything.
well apparently he doesn't leave it ALL on the field. he saved a little energy for the trash talk afterward........ i don't disagree that he's not a very good player however.... i also think good ole number 1 will be one of the best players in the SEC before its all said and done.
Re: Chris Culliver not particularly impressed with Alabama!
It's not like we really get up for South Carolina anyway. We all know the teams that Alabama gets fired up for, and South Carolina is obviously not one of them. Even coach Saban said the players were not completely focused in practice all week. Basically we played our worst game of the season against arguably the SEC's third best team and still won by two TDs.
Re: Chris Culliver not particularly impressed with Alabama!
Culliver is probably just frustrated because he sees Mark Ingram running over, around, and through his defense when he sleeps at night.
