Lamar Thomas, after the '93 Sugar Bowl - "I still say their DBs ain't all that great."
Didn't he also say later that game cost him a lot of $$ in the NFL? I'm sure it still stings to this day he did all that smack talking and got beat down in the game...

Whatever makes you sleep better at night Chris, score says different.
That's right. History books will show the score, not his comments.

Re: Chris Culliver not particularly impressed with Alabama!

Typical loser-speak.

To have 100+ yards in penalties, 92 yards passing, 4 turnovers and still win by 14 says it all.

Re: Chris Culliver not particularly impressed with Alabama!

Sounds like a bunch of sour grapes to me. Maybe he should talk with the offense and be mad at them. Either way this is nothing new from South Carolina, they are perpetual excuse makers.

Sounds to me like Chris Culliver is really not impressed with South Carolina. Saying we should beat them worse is basically him saying that his crappy team shouldn't be able to stay in the field with us.
That's exactly what I was thinking. Culliver played a heck of a game from his DB position on run support. He and Ingram met each other at least 6 times in the game, and Culliver was around the ball a lot. All that being said, why doesn't the fact that they were "right there with us" say more about where THEIR program is as opposed to where OURS is? Don't see their program going too far until that mindset changes.

Re: Chris Culliver not particularly impressed with Alabama!

Especially funny is they just spent some time on Gameday Live talking about Ingram and showing footage of him running over Carolina and every shot involved him running over Culliver. :-D

Re: Chris Culliver not particularly impressed with Alabama!

I was reminded of one post on a Hog board after our game with them. One poster was making a case that we weren't all that great and came up with a handful of plays, which if they'd turned out differently, ARK would have won. A guy answered him, saying, "Sounds like you're saying they played a bad game and still won 35-7..."

Mr. Culliver enjoy your trip to the Outback Bowl or the Chick Fil A bowl while Bama heads to the BCS.
I know that's meant as a slam, but most Gamecock fans would be tickled to be in either of those Bowls.
