Hiwdy!

I'm guilty of lurking around here and reading posts for a long time so I finally decided to join. It seems like a great community of great people all talking about one of the things I love the most.. Alabama football.

A little about me..

I was born and raised in Tuscaloosa and was a Bama fan from day 1. My grandparents are no longer with me, but as a young boy, they took me to games and told me stories about the glory days of Alabama football. I wish they were still around telling me stories about the Snake, the Bear and so many other greats that 'll never forget.

I left the area at age 20 to join the Army. I just got out of the Army after 6.5 years and I now live in Maryland. It's only a matter of time before I come home.. I miss the south and the smell of hot dogs and the sound of thousands of people all gathered on a brisk cool fall Saturday to watch football in Bryant Denny Stadium. It's something that, once you experience it and grow up in it, no matter where you are in the world, you think and dream about it every fall Saturday.

I look forward to getting to know everyone in this great community and hopefully bump into a few of you on the quad one day.. celebrating another great win!
