Well, we're a nine point favorite on our own home field, I would hope we have a "shot" at winning. What's gotten into to everyone thinking so lowly of this team? We're ranked number three in the coutry, and have won twenty consecutive regular season games. Have some pride.
Capstone,
you are preaching to the choir.. everything you say I agree 100%!!
Saban will have the boys craving for blood come game time!!!
I'm actually not concerned with this game as I was with OM or UT.
our Crimson Tiders will rise to the occasion and you can book your trip to Atlanta after the game.

Well 504 lost me on his opening sentence. There is no way this game means any more to him than the rest of us. It's the LSU game. It's for the division. It's the biggest game of the year so far. It's time for the Tide to assert itself.
As coach Stallings always said, "In order to win, you've got to be able to run the ball on offense and you've got to be able to stop the run on defense."
Here's the skinny:
Rushing Offense:
BAMA 13th 218 yds per game 17 rushing TDs
LSU 69th 142 yds per game 7 rushing TDs
Rushing Defense:
BAMA 2nd 65 yds per game 3 rushing TDs
LSU 35th 114 yds per game 3 rushing TDs
After a week's rest and CNS time to get prepared,
BAMA 35
LSU 10
how important is this game. well, we win, and a west title again, we win, and good chance we play fla undefeated, provided we beat a on coming miss state and auburn team. lots to play for. need to jump over texas in the bcs, and a win should do that seeing they dont play another good opponet. our defense has a extra week of rest, and chance for return of mental toughness as well. the offense has the chance to become balanced again. got to win at home, and silence the so called experts again.
I believe we will win. Last game we didn't have JA at 100% and with Peek going out that kind of hurt, but we still found a way to win. We showed alot of charachter against UcheaT. We've had a little time to rest and get our legs under us and watch alot of game film and I do believe we will be quite ready for the Bayou Putty Tats.
Speaking of Peak, has anyone on here heard how he is doing, or if he is going to be back for LSU? I havent heard or seen anything on it so far. I was surprised to see that no one has posted anything on it. ( I am in Iraq by the way, so if it has been brought up back home, I havent gotten the opportunity to see or hear about it)

I had earlier, in another thread, called a 25 -6 (or 25-9) Bama win.
Since I have heard some things about practice this week (and last), I'm upping that to 32-6 (or 9), Bama.

you mean you haven't gotten your crimson hair shirt with the
its all the rage these days
and if you buy one in the next 15 minutes it comes with a free flail
I think you guys are being a little rough on 504. He begins his post by saying he lives in LSU country so I'm sure his perspective is significantly colored by all the LSU folks he has to live around.
Other than the title of the thread I think his analysis of the game prospects are about as good as any I have read.
Hopefully all will go as planned this Sat and 504 will be able to endure another year of cajin cookin.

Key to winning the game for 'Bama: TOUCHDOWNS TOUCHDOWNS TOUCHDOWNS! Field goals aren't going to win this one.
Why do people keep saying this? Sure, we all know we would be better off with touchdowns over filed goals. However, our defense is really good. We could win with a bunch of field goals. Matter of fact we did it against TN. I hope we can get back to getting in the endzone, but if we don't, it also doesn't mean we automatically lose.
